OK – so what’s with the name Deadwilder?

Actually, it’s a pretty encompassing moniker…most of the stuff we illustrate is either DEAD or WILDer. This comes from a long history of hanging out in museum collection departments full of fascinating dead things, and multi-week field trips spent tracking down Mother Nature’s wildest flora and fauna.

So aside from the name, what makes Deadwilder Design & Illustration unique?

Deadwilder was founded in 2007 by Erin King  - a self proclaimed “art fanatic and goofball naturalist”. Allison Werberg, a colleague of Erin’s from the CU Museum & Field Studies program, joined up shortly thereafter. Both of them ooze creative energy, yet know when to draw the line (you bet that pun was intended!) We think you’ll agree our portfolio is broad, versatile, and definitely unique!

That all sounds very interesting, but why should I hire you?

In all seriousness, we are proud of our unique understanding of scientific subject matter and excellent skill set gained from years of formal training & experience. We are prepared to undertake illustration assignments of varying complexity while assuring you straightforward and beautifully executed material.
