| Last winter I was buying a daily lattes when a dear friend finally called attention to my dirty habit by sending me a link to a design contest. The prize was a swank espresso machine, so I decided to enter, and the “Cockamamey Ideas” rooster came into existence. Long story short, I didn’t win the contest, and I’ve still got a gnarly latte affliction, but I did include the painting in this year’s Open Studios Tour, and to my surprise it was one of my most popular pieces. | ||||||||||||
